Bessemer Avenue, East Pittsburgh -- Alternating one-way traffic as needed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday at Route 30 bridge during installation of debris containment.
Bettis Road, West Mifflin -- Closed for bridge replacement between Ridgeview Drive and Paules Lane through late October. Detour posted.
Business Route 376 (former Business 60), Moon -- Single-lane traffic in both directions around the clock between the eastern interchange with the Parkway West and Airside Drive. Nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from the Thorn Run/Coraopolis Heights Road interchange to just past University Boulevard, with one lane open in each direction. Around-the-clock single-lane traffic from University Boulevard to half-mile east of International Drive through late November.
Chartiers Street, Bridgeville -- Alternating one-way traffic between Spruce Way and Winfield Street at intersection of Elizabeth Street weekdays as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sept. 3. To help motorists avoid delays, PennDOT will post signs to use Bank Street to Station Street as an alternate route.
Citizens Bridge, Kittanning -- Closed from 5 a.m. until dark on Saturday; partial closures Sunday; and closed 5 a.m. until dark Aug. 30 and 31.
Dorseyville Road, Indiana Township -- Closed between Indianola Road and Saxonburg Boulevard for total roadway reconstruction through late August.
Elizabeth Avenue, Avalon -- Closed from Route 65 to Howden Street around-the-clock through Sept. 4 as part of Route 65 project.
Forbes Road, Trafford -- Closed until Nov. 2 for replacement of bridge over Turtle Creek between Broadway Boulevard and Seventh Street Extension. Detour via Fifth Street Extension and Forest Avenue.
Fort Duquesne Bridge -- Southbound approach from Route 65 to inbound lower deck closed through 5 a.m. Aug. 30. On-ramps from Allegheny Avenue, Ridge Avenue and Reedsdale Street and off-ramps to Fort Duquesne Boulevard and 10th Street Bypass also closed until Aug. 30. On-ramp to outbound upper deck from the 10th Street Bypass closed from 6 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday. Full inbound lower deck closure this weekend from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Traffic on inbound lower deck reduced to two lanes during weekday daylight hours and one lane from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday. Off-ramp to Fort Duquesne Boulevard remains closed until Sept. 10.
Fort Pitt Bridge -- Inbound ramp to Fort Duquesne Boulevard closed from 6 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. on Monday.
Freeport Road, Harmar -- Eastbound traffic reduced to a single lane between Route 910 and the turnpike around-the-clock until late August as Equitable Gas contractor replaces 20-inch main.
Freeport Road, O'Hara -- One lane closed westbound under the Highland Park Bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 7.
Greentree Road, Scott -- Restricted to one lane eastbound at Scott Towne Center due to landslide.
Grubbs Road, McCandless -- Bridge over Pine Creek between Parkland Drive and Ingomar Road closed through mid-September for replacement.
Highland Park Bridge -- Traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday during resetting of bridge bearings.
Interstate 70, South Strabane -- Eastbound reduced to one lane from Jefferson Avenue (Exit 17) to Murtland Avenue (Exit 19) from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly through September. No restrictions on Friday and Saturday nights.
Interstate 70, Westmoreland County -- Lane restrictions possible after 8 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 p.m. Fridays between the Route 43 interchange and New Stanton through mid-September.
Interstate 79, Butler County -- Lane restrictions southbound between Portersville/Prospect (Exit 96) and Zelienople (Exit 88) during repaving project that continues to November then resumes in the spring.
Interstate 79, Marshall -- Lane closures possible in both directions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 3.
Interstate 79, Mercer County -- Single-lane traffic in both directions throughout the 26 miles of highway in the county, with up to three six-mile work zones operating at a time, through October. Work generally suspended weekends but some restrictions may be necessary.
Interstate 79, Neville -- Northbound off-ramp to Grand Avenue will reopen on Friday. At approximately noon on Friday the on-ramp from Grand Avenue to northbound I-79 will close through Oct. 29 for rehabilitation.
Interstate 79, Washington County -- Restricted to one lane in both directions between the Allegheny County line and Canonsburg from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays, during pavement improvement project.
Liberty Tunnels -- Outbound tunnel closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays through Aug. 31. Nightly closures of the inbound tunnel will continue through early December.
Lincoln Way, White Oak -- Bridge over Long Run, between Route 48 (Jacks Run Road) and the east entrance of Oak Park Mall, closed through mid-September for replacement.
Little Sewickley Creek Road, Edgeworth -- Closed through Sept. 7 between Beaver Road and Backbone Road for slope repairs.
Long Road, Penn Hills -- Closed between Beulah Road and Pennywood Drive through Nov. 30 for sewer line installation. Detour via Frankstown Road.
Lovedale Road, Elizabeth Township, Lincoln -- Closed at bridge over branch of Wylie Run near the intersection with Fuehrer Drive continuously through late August during bridge replacement.
Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway -- Closed long-term from Penn Station to Grant Street for repaving. A, B, C stops at Penn Station closed. Riders advised to use other Downtown stops.
McKnight Road, Ross, McCandless -- Lane closures as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 15, northbound between Nelson Run Road and Perrymont Road and southbound between Roseland Avenue and Babcock Boulevard.
Mifflin Road, Hays -- Rehabilitation of two bridges over Baldwin Road shifts traffic into a single lane in each direction on the southbound side through December. Work on southbound side will begin next year.
Milltown Road, Plum -- Closed between Shearer Road and Barnes Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for repairs. Detour via Hulton Road, Leechburg Road, Logans Ferry Road and Coxcomb Hill Road.
Montour Church Road, North Fayette -- Bridge over Route 22/30 at the Tonidale interchange closed through late September 2011 for replacement.
Northern Pike, Monroeville -- Alternating one-way traffic controlled by temporary signals at the bridge crossing the Pennsylvania Turnpike through October during deck replacement.
Old William Penn Highway, Monroeville -- Lane closures possible under Parkway East overpasses between Evergreen Drive and Center Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily through Aug. 31.
Parkway East -- Outbound reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday in work zone from Churchill to Pennsylvania Turnpike for bridge work and milling. Work to seal cracks will cause a series of moving lane closures starting at 9 p.m. weeknights through Sept. 13. Work will begin inbound at Business Route 22 (Exit 80) and move west to Edgewood-Swissvale (Exit 77), then shift to the outbound side in the opposite direction. When that is finished, crews will work between Edgewood-Swissvale and the Fort Pitt Bridge. Outbound off-ramp at Penn Hills (Exit 81) closed through Aug. 30.
Parkway West, Carnegie -- Outbound off-ramp to Carnegie closed as needed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays through Sept. 4. Lane restrictions possible on the ramp to Heidelberg.
Parkway West, Robinson -- Lane closures in both directions between Steubenville Pike (Exit 60) and Montour Run Road (Exit 58) as needed from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
Penn Circle, East Liberty -- Construction starts Monday for one year to make intersection, sidewalk and pavement improvements along Penn Circle South and Penn Circle East between South Highland Avenue and Collins Street to convert to two-way traffic pattern. Southbound traffic on South Highland will be detoured for up to two weeks. Lane restrictions will occur elsewhere as the project moves ahead with completion in May 2011.
Pittsburgh International Airport, Findlay -- Arrival ramp to baggage claim area to have single-lane traffic as part of landside roadway repair project that continues to November. Delays possible.
Potomac Avenue, Crane Avenue, Banksville -- Alternating one-way traffic on Potomac from Banksville Road west to Greentree Road from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Same restriction on Crane from Banksville Road west to Carnahan/Greentree Road from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Crane from Banksville Road east to Beechview Avenue closed entirely during same hours. Repaving expected to take two weeks.
Rankin Bridge -- Alternating one-way traffic from 7 p.m. Aug. 30 to 2 a.m. Aug. 31. Single-lane traffic in both directions at other times through November.
Route 8, Hampton -- Restricted to one lane in both directions from Harts Run Road to Duncan Avenue through October.
Route 8, Hampton, Shaler -- Resurfacing from south of Butler Plank Road to north of Wildwood Road. Overnight lane restrictions will begin at 7 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, lasting until 5 the following morning; and from 8 p.m. Fridays to 10 a.m. Saturdays, through late November.
Route 19, North Strabane -- Single-lane traffic in both directions for bridge project at intersection with Route 519.
Route 19, Upper St. Clair -- Reduced to one lane in each direction in area of Country Club Drive overpass between Southern Hilands Drive and Lambeth Drive from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays through early November for work on the overpass.
Route 28, Etna -- Daytime closures of southbound Route 8 and the on-ramp from southbound Route 8 to northbound Route 28 as needed through late August. Northbound traffic restricted around-the-clock to one lane from Shaler Water to new bridge over Route 8; two southbound lanes open in peak periods but left lane closed near Route 8 off-ramp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. On-ramp from Butler Street to southbound Route 28 closed. Ramp from northbound Route 28 to northbound Route 8 at Exit 5B closed, with traffic to Sharpsburg, Route 8 and 62nd Street Bridge detoured via Exit 4 at Etna. Restrictions to continue into December.
Route 28, North Side, Millvale ??? Outbound right lane closed between the 31st and 40th street bridges from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily from Monday evening through Saturday morning; lane closures during same hours at the intersection of the 16th Street Bridge/Chestnut Street and the ramp from northbound Route 28. Work in preparation for major Route 28 reconstruction, which is now scheduled to begin Aug. 30. Reduced to one lane outbound starting at 9 a.m. Aug. 30 from just north of the 31st Street Bridge through the 40th Street Bridge intersection. Major delays expected. Two lanes of traffic maintained inbound during peak periods. Restrictions in place through mid-summer of 2012 during major reconstruction project.
Route 30, North Versailles -- Closed in area of Greensburg Pike overpass from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Reduced to a single lane at other times through mid-November during bridge replacement.
Route 51/Route 19, South Hills -- Various lane closures possible at Saw Mill Run Boulevard/West Liberty Avenue interchange nightly after 6 p.m. this week during installation of pavement markings.
Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pleasant Hills -- Single-lane traffic in both directions in work zone near Lewis Run Road. No left turns from southbound Route 51 to Lewis Run Road. Lane restrictions from Coal Valley to Lebanon Church/Curry Hollow roads overnight starting 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays with some restrictions possible overnight on weekends through October.
Route 65, Avalon -- Reduced to one narrow lane in each direction, with center turn lane open, from the Dilworth Run Bridge to south of Locust Street. Major widening and construction project to continue into November.
Route 65, Emsworth -- Reduced to one narrow lane in each direction between Hiland Avenue and Camp Horne Road through November during replacement of bridge over Lowries Run.
Route 65, Glenfield -- Single-lane traffic in both directions and numerous ramp closures at the Interstate 79 interchange. Temporary northbound off-ramp to Glenfield Viaduct/Kilbuck Street/Interstate 79 closed around-the-clock through Oct. 1. Southbound on-ramp from Kilbuck Street reversed to serve as detour.
Route 65, North Side -- Northbound ramps from Route 65 and Chateau Street to northbound Marshall Avenue closed until late June 2011 for reconstruction.
Route 136, Forward -- Alternating one-way traffic just west of Kelly Hollow Road during bridge replacement around the clock through early November.
Route 910, Harmar, Indiana Township -- Alternating one-way traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays between Commerce Park Drive and Saxonburg Boulevard through Aug. 27. Closed westbound between southbound Route 28 on- and off-ramps and Saxonburg Boulevard from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday.
Route 910, Marshall -- Lane closures in both directions weeknights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from just west of Wexford Run Road to just east of Windgate Drive through early September. Some daylight restrictions possible from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during widening, repaving, other improvements. Overall work will conclude in November.
Spring Garden Road, Reserve -- Closed between Ramage Road and Beech Street for emergency repairs to retaining wall through the end of August.
Squirrel Hill Tunnels -- Single-lane traffic inbound starting at 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and concluding at 5 the following morning; single-lane outbound during same hours Wednesday and Thursday.
Streets Run Road, Baldwin Borough -- Closed at intersection with Prospect Road through mid-November for bridge replacement. Streets Run Road and Prospect Road traffic detoured.
Tri-Boro Expressway -- Expressway/Braddock Avenue closed in both directions from O'Connell Boulevard to Cable Avenue for bridge replacement expected to continue into October. Also, East Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard closed from Elder Street to the Tri-Boro Expressway. Main Street under the bridge closed from Braddock Avenue to Bessemer Avenue.
Veterans Bridge, Downtown -- Inspections will cause restrictions on ramps at various times from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. All ramps to remain open.
West Carson Street, West End -- Closed in both directions in the area of the West End Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday during bridge work. Traffic will be detoured using the West End. Signs will be posted to guide motorists and police will assist with traffic control. Elevated ramp connecting West End Bridge and West Carson Street (on west side of interchange) closed in both directions from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sunday for expansion dam replacement. Detour via Steuben Street, Chartiers Avenue and Corliss Street. West Carson Street to remain open.
Westinghouse Bridge, North Versailles -- Single-lane traffic in both directions as rehabilitation project continues. Restrictions around-the-clock through September.
West Liberty Avenue, Dormont, Beechview -- Repaving from McFarland Road to Wenzell Avenue to cause lane restrictions at night after 7 p.m. and on weekends through November.
