Interstate 70, North Belle Vernon -- Paving of on and off ramps at Fayette Street on Monday and Tuesday Aug. 10 and 11 may cause minor delays.
Interstate 79, Neville -- A $20.8 million project to improve the Neville Island Bridge/Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) interchange (Exit 66) and approaching roadways will begin Friday night. Traffic on southbound I-79 will be reduced to a single lane across the Neville Island Bridge beginning at 8 p.m. around-the-clock through 6 a.m. Monday. Northbound traffic not affected this weekend. The overall project will improve I-79 and Route 65 and the interchange at Exit 66 including 10 bridge and ramp structures. It will be completed in October 2010.
Interstate 79, Robinson -- Intermittent single and double lane closures in both directions approximately three miles north and south of the Parkway West interchange (Exit 59) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Crews will be installing new signs as part of the Parkway West conversion from I-279 to I-376.
Liberty Bridge, Downtown -- Roadway between the bridge and Forbes Avenue closed in both directions from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Ramps to and from Crosstown Boulevard and the Boulevard of the Allies to remain open.
McArdle Roadway, Mount Washington -- Uphill lane to be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Aug. 15 for tree removal. Downhill lane remains closed around the clock until Aug. 21.
Parkway East -- Traffic to be shifted from the inside shoulder and left lane onto the newly resurfaced outside right lane and shoulder between Exit 14A (Monroeville) and Exit 10B (Business Route 22) from 10 p.m. to midnight Saturday, with delays and stoppages likely. When shift is completed, two lanes of inbound traffic will be maintained using the outside right lane and shoulder. Also, intermittent short-term single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday outbound from Exit 10B (Business Route 22) to Exit 14A (Monroeville) for traffic camera installation. Two outbound lanes will remain open. Left lane closed outbound near Grant Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday during guide rail repairs.
Parkway North -- One lane closed northbound from Bellevue-West View (Exit 7) to Interstate 79 from 7 tonight to 2 p.m. on Sunday; lane closed southbound in same zone from 6 tonight to 7 a.m. Sunday.
Parkway West -- Intermittent lane closures inbound between the I-79 interchange in Robinson and the Fort Pitt Tunnels from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly on weeknights through Aug. 22. Crews will be installing new signs as part of the Parkway West conversion from I-279 to I-376.
Pennsylvania Turnpike, New Stanton -- Restricted to one lane for 4.5 miles westbound beginning at mile 76.5 near New Stanton interchange from 7 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday. Delays of 30 to 60 minutes possible.
Route 88, Allenport -- Reduced to alternating single-lane traffic because of sinkhole. Completion of repairs expected by late August.
Bakerstown Road, Fawn -- Traffic on bridge over Bull Creek at Old Mill Road reduced to alternating single-lane traffic 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
Harts Run Road, Hampton -- Alternating single-lane traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday between Roseanna Drive and Woodland Road.
Interstate 79, Carnegie -- Intermittent, short-term left lane and shoulder closures southbound from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday between Carnegie (Exit 57) and Kirwan Heights (Exit 55).
Ohio River Boulevard, Kilbuck -- Two southbound lanes now open; northbound remains restricted to one lane through August.
Parkway East -- Ramp from Rodi Road to inbound parkway closed from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. Inbound reduced to single lane near bridge over Route 130 from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. Intermittent lane closures outbound between Penn Hills (Exit 11) and Plum (Exit 14) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. One outbound lane closed from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday between Squirrel Hill interchange (Exit 5) and entrance to Squirrel Hill Tunnel. All ramps open.
Parkway North -- Outbound left lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday between Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) and Interstate 79.
Parkway West -- Outbound right lane closed between Route 22/30/60 (Steubenville Pike) and Robinson Town Centre interchanges and off-ramp to Robinson Town Centre reduced to a single lane from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
Rankin Bridge -- Alternating single-lane traffic from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday and again the following night. One lane in each direction at other times.
Route 8, Etna -- Closed in both directions at Etna interchange from 5 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday. Northbound side will be closed between the off-ramp to Sharpsburg and the ramp from northbound Route 28 to northbound Route 8. Ramps will remain open. Only northbound Route 8 traffic will be detoured, to Highland Park Bridge; access to Bridge Street and Butler Street in Etna from the 62nd Street Bridge will remain open. Southbound Route 8 closed between the ramp to southbound Route 28 and the approach to the 62nd Street Bridge. Ramp to southbound Route 28 will remain open.
Routes 30, 136, Hempfield -- Ramps restricted during milling and paving Wednesday and Thursday.
Route 51, Elizabeth -- Northbound off-ramp to Third Avenue closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
South 26th Street, South Side -- Closed between East Carson Street and Sarah Street from 9 a.m. Monday through Aug. 14. Traffic will follow East Carson Street to the next intersection to bypass the closed section of South 26th Street. The section of 28th Street that has been closed will be reopened.
Squirrel Hill Tunnels -- One lane closed inbound from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
West Carson Street, South Side -- Lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Friday morning between Fort Pitt and West End bridges.
Wexford-Bayne Road, Marshall -- Restricted to one lane in each direction at bridge over I-79 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Parkway East -- Reduced to one lane inbound (right and center lanes closed) from Plum (Exit 14) to Churchill (Exit 10A) until 5 a.m. Monday Aug. 3 and again from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly all week into Saturday morning. One lane closed outbound during same times in area of bridge that carries Jefferson Heights Road over the parkway just east of Penn Hills (Exit 11).
Parkway North -- Southbound ramps to Union Avenue at Bellevue-West View (Exit 7) closed until 2 p.m. Sunday Aug. 2. Detours posted. Restricted to one lane in both directions between Bellevue-West View and Interstate 79 until 2 p.m. Sunday Aug. 2. One lane closed nightly in each direction from Bellevue-West View to I-79; inbound 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., outbound 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday Aug. 3 through Friday morning. One lane closed inbound from I-79 to Bellevue-West View from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily through Friday.
Parkway West -- Outbound ramp to Montour Run/Cliff Mine Road closed until 6 a.m. Monday Aug. 3. Acceleration and deceleration lanes in both directions at Montour Run/Cliff Mine Road also closed. Outbound ramp to westbound Steubenville Pike/Route 22/30 closed at 9 a.m. Monday through late October.
Penn Avenue, Churchill -- Westbound traffic reduced to one lane between Route 130 (Beulah Road) and the ramp to the inbound Parkway East/Old Gate Road intersection until further notice because of slide condition.
Rankin Bridge -- Restricted to alternating single-lane traffic from 8 p.m. Monday Aug. 3 to 6 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 4 and again the following night. Restricted to one lane in each direction at other times during rehabilitation project scheduled for September 2010 completion.
Ravine Street, O'Hara -- Closed to vehicles from Sharps Hill Road in O'Hara to High Street in Sharpsburg through late September.
Route 8, Hampton -- Lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Wildwood Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike through mid-November during resurfacing.
Route 19, Marshall -- Restricted to one lane in each direction between Brush Creek Road and Warrendale Bayne Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until late August during improvements to the bridges that carry Interstate 79 over Route 19.
Route 28, North Side/Etna -- One outbound lane closed for wall construction near the old Heinz plant through August.
Route 28, East Deer, Fawn, Harrison -- Southbound reduced to one lane Mondays through Saturdays from Butler County line to Creighton (Exit 13), except from 5 to 9 a.m. weekdays, through late August. Southbound on and off ramps at Exit 16 closed around the clock through mid-August.

Route 910 Gibsonia Road, Indiana Township -- Alternating single-lane traffic west from Saxonburg Boulevard to near the turnpike overpass daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through mid-October.
Steubenville Pike, Robinson -- Traffic reduced to single lane in each direction between Park Manor Drive and Montour Church Road during Route 22/30/60 interchange reconfiguration. Two ramps closed from 9 a.m. Monday Aug. 3 to late October: outbound Parkway West ramp to westbound Steubenville Pike; and westbound Steubenville Pike ramp to outbound parkway.
10th Street Bypass, Downtown -- Closed midnight to 3 a.m. Monday Aug. 3 for drain cleaning.
Thorn Run Road, Moon -- Repaving between Beaver Grade Road and Route 51 and concrete work in the intersection with Route 51 to cause alternating single-lane traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays through mid-October.
Tri-Boro Expressway -- Expressway/Braddock Avenue closed in both directions from O'Connell Boulevard to Cable Avenue for bridge replacement. Also, East Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard closed from Elder Street to the Tri-Boro Expressway. Main Street under the bridge closed from Braddock Avenue to Bessemer Avenue, all until late this year.
Union Avenue, Bellevue, Avalon, Ross -- Alternating single-lane traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily as needed from Means Avenue to Casper Avenue through mid-October.
Vanadium Road, Scott and Collier -- Alternating single-lane traffic through Oct. 31 for repaving.
Warrendale Bayne Road, Marshall, Pine -- Alternating single-lane traffic from just west of Northgate Road to Wallace Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through mid-October for resurfacing.
Westinghouse Bridge -- Two lanes closed, single-lane traffic maintained in each direction, until November.
William Penn Highway, Monroeville -- Right lane closed in one direction at a time from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through mid-August for inspection of Hall Station Bridge between Kingston and Mark drives.
Beaver County
Route 60 (Beaver Valley Expressway) -- Single lane traffic southbound between Route 51/Chippewa (Exit 23) and Aliquippa (Exit 10) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through early September. Left-lane closures in both directions at Aliquippa (Exit 10) daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through early September. Traffic reduced to single lane southbound around the clock from near Monaca-Shippingport interchange (Route 18) for about one mile. Single-lane traffic on northbound side from Brighton (Exit 14) to Chippewa (Exit 15) through late July.
Butler County
Cliff Street, Butler -- Closed as part of the Route 356 Wayne Avenue Bridge project through Nov. 16. Detour on East Cunningham Street to McKean Street to East Jefferson Street (Route 68) to Main Street (Route 8) and ending back on Wayne Street.
Hartmann Road/Harmony Junction Bridge, Jackson -- Closed for reconstruction expected to continue until June 2010. Detour via Routes 68 and 19 and Little Creek and Seneca School roads.
Lardintown Road, Clinton -- Closed starting Wednesday Aug. 5 until mid-October between Gold Scheitter Road and the Allegheny County line for bridge deck and beam replacement and rehabilitation of the abutments. Traffic detoured.
Route 228, Cranberry and Adams -- Construction of an auxiliary lane from the northbound Interstate 79 ramp to Cranberry Woods Drive to serve Westinghouse headquarters under way. Any traffic restrictions requiring closure of existing two lanes will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. or on weekends. Work expected to be completed in September. Also, alternating single-lane traffic from Franklin Road to Crider Road from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through the end of July. Flag crews to direct traffic.
Fayette County
Route 43, Georges -- One lane traffic in both directions just north of the Route 43, Route 119 and Route 857 interchange (Exit 8).
Route 119, North Union and South Union -- Northbound lanes closed from Redstone Creek Bridge to approximately 1,500 feet past the Gallatin Avenue interchange for Mon-Fayette Expressway construction through Nov. 13. Northbound traffic shifted to southbound lanes, one lane in each direction. Northbound on-ramp from Route 51 to Route 119 closed through Aug. 24.
Indiana County
Smicksburg Bridge, Smicksburg and West Mahoning -- Replacement project reduces Route 954 to one-way alternating traffic until May 2010.
Route 119, Indiana -- Lane restrictions between Route 56/Ridge Avenue and Lucerne Road during resurfacing until September.
Route 259, West Wheatfield -- Closed, along with ramps to Route 22, until late August during Route 22 construction.
Lawrence County
Route 168 -- Galilee Road Bridge closed for replacement between Wampum Road and Mill Street, North Beaver, through mid-October.
Washington County
Charleroi-Monessen Bridge -- Closed after inspection revealed structural deficiencies.
Route 36, North and South Strabane -- Closed at bridge over Little Chartiers Creek through mid-August during bridge replacement. Posted detour via Route 519 and Interstate 70.
Route 980, Canonsburg -- Replacement of small bridge over Brush Run, reducing Euclid Avenue to alternating one-way traffic until September. Traffic controlled by temporary signals at each side of bridge.
Donora-Monessen Bridge, Donora -- Traffic reduced to single lane in each direction with occasional stoppages of up to 15 minutes during rehabilitation project.
Donora-Webster Bridge -- Closed until further notice. PennDOT has retained SAI Consulting Engineers to investigate the feasibility of repairing the bridge so that it can reopen with a three-ton weight limit.
Westmoreland County
Route 22, New Alexandria -- One lane in each direction for much of the nine-mile section from just east of Route 981 to the Indiana County line. Reduced speed limit in work zone with some delays possible during reconstruction and widening through August.
Route 30, Unity -- Construction from Theater Street to Route 217 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly Sundays through Friday mornings, with lane restrictions and alternating traffic possible.
