It's possible they just wanted an education, but students at a St. Vincent College dorm were not happy with their newest roommates -- and made sure the college took action to oust them.
Students in Bonaventure Hall said they had been plagued by a mouse infestation since the fall semester, finally forcing college officials to employ a heavy-duty trap -- an official action plan and an exterminating company.
After months of sharing their quarters with the pesky rodents, students now say they haven't seen a mouse in several days.
Mary Beth Spore, dean of the School of Social Sciences, Communications and Education, said more than 125 holes had been filled and at least three dozen mouse traps distributed.
To top it off, the students will be invited to a chocolate mousse party with the college president.
