One injured in Port Vue explosion

At least one person was injured in an explosion at ELG Metals Inc. in Port Vue Wednesday morning.

The blast was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of River Road.

The person who was injured was taken to a hospital. The extent of his injury was not immediately known.

Fire officials were investigating.
