Fire under control in Liberty

A fire that raged for roughly three hours at a steel pipe coating facility in Liberty has been brought under control, authorities said late Friday.

No one was injured in the blaze, reported at Dura-Bond Industries at 3200 Youghiogheny River Road at 7:46 p.m., and all employees were accounted for, officials said. It was declared under control at 10:47 p.m.

Damage estimates were not immediately available.

"We won't have any damage estimates until everything is out and they have an opportunity to get in," county spokeswoman Amie Downs said.
