Lane restrictions on Route 51 starting Thursday will clear the way for an early opening of the reconstructed Colerain Street Bridge next week, Allegheny County announced today.
The right lane of southbound Route 51 will be closed from Whited Street to Midwood Avenue in Carrick from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday for sidewalk restoration. On Tuesday and next Wednesday, also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the left lanes will close in both directions in the same area while traffic signals are reset.
Pittsburgh police will direct traffic during the lane closures.
