Police searching for suspect in armed robbery at New Castle convenience store

Police are asking the public's help in solving an armed robbery.

Pennsylvania state police at New Castle said the incident occurred Saturday night at the TicToc convenience store on Ellwood Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.

Police said that, at about 9:30 p.m., a white man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from two clerks standing behind a counter. He was given money then he fled on foot.

He is described as standing about five-feet, ten-inches, tall; in his early 20s; with light brown to blond hair; wearing a black bandanna, a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 724-598-2211.

All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
