Road in Springdale is set to close for weekend

A section of Freeport Road and Pittsburgh Street in Springdale Borough will be closed this weekend during repairs to an overhead structure, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The road will close between Duquesne Court and Washington Street from 9 p.m. today through 6 a.m. Monday during repairs to a private structure that was hit by a truck in January.
