Middle Road bridge in Hampton to reopen Friday

The new bridge on Middle Road over the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Hampton will open Friday night, the turnpike commission announced today.

Middle Road has been closed since March 11 for the replacement project, one of six that are being done in advance of a planned reconstruction and widening of the turnpike from mile 40 to mile 48.

The bridge will open at 8 p.m.
