Investigators in Butler County are trying to determine how a Buffalo Township man died in his swimming pool this morning.

The body of William Walker, 83, was found at about 10:45 a.m. by his wife at their home on Ekastown Road.

Mr. Walker was found unresponsive in about 8 feet of water, Coroner William Young said.

Mr. Walker had been cleaning the pool and tidying up the vicinity before the incident was reported.

Investigators do not suspect foul play, the coroner said.
