Sign work on Rt. 22 to cause traffic squeeze in Monroeville

Sign work on Rt. 22 to cause traffic squeeze in Monroeville

Traffic on part of Route 22 in Monroeville will be squeezed down to one lane this weekend.

PennDOT will close the right, westbound lane near Cochran Automotive so that a contractor can build a foundation for an overhead sign.

Traffic will be restricted from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The lane will be closed intermittently next week for electrical work on the sign.
