Port Authority closed part of the Red Line of the T system that runs through Beechview, which means that starting today South Hills riders who use that system to go to Downtown Pittsburgh or the North Shore will have to find an alternative.

The Red Line will operate as normal from Fallowfield to Downtown and the North Shore. To accommodate passengers from other parts of Beechview and the South Hills, Port Authority has offered several options.
