DOWNTOWN: Twenty-fifth annual Labor Day Parade, sponsored by the Allegheny County Labor Council. Parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Mellon Arena and proceeds along Centre Avenue to Grant Street to the Boulevard of the Allies, ending at Gateway Center.
OAKLAND: Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy will hold its weekly Walk in the Woods beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Schenley Park. Participants should meet at the Schenley Park Cafe and Visitors' Center, 101 Panther Hollow Road.
SQUIRREL HILL: The Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh will present the klezmer jazz duo of clarinetist Susan Ortner-Roberts and pianist Tom Roberts at 7 p.m. in the Katz Auditorium 5738 Darlington Road. Tickets are reserved seats $20; seniors (60 and older) and children under 18, $10 in advance and $15 at the door; adults, $15 in advance and $20 at the door; and $15 reserved priority seating. OAKLAND: The Open Drum, formerly the Family & Community Drumming and Dancing Circle, will sponsor a drum and dance instruction session with instructor Gordon Nunn from 2-4 p.m. at St. Andew Lutheran Church, 304 Morewood Ave. Drums will be provide or participants can bring their own. Refreshments will be available and donations will be accepted.
OAKLAND: The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy will hold its weekly Sunday in the Park concert from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Schenley Park Cafe and Visitors' Center. Today's performer will be Rick Gercak.
