Pittsburgh Councilman Bruce Kraus has scheduled a Wednesday meeting on the future of the UPMC South Side.

The hospital is slated for at least partial closure, but Mr. Kraus wants public input on which functions might be retained.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Market House at 12 Bedford Square, and is expected to include elected officials, community leaders, members of the general public and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center representatives.
