Pothole hot line -- Report potholes on PennDOT-maintained roads at 1-800-FIX-ROAD. Callers are automatically directed to the nearest maintenance office. Report potholes on local roads and streets to municipality where they appear. City residents should dial "3-1-1."
Parkway East/I-376 -- Details to be announced this week for next phase of rehabilitation between Edgewood/Swissvale and Churchill interchanges.
I-79, Allegheny County -- One lane closed after 7 p.m. weekdays and over weekends for next two weeks to construct traffic crossovers. Traffic will be shifted to the new northbound lanes while contractor works on the southbound side between the Ohio River and I-279 Junction in Franklin Park.
I-579, Pittsburgh -- A 10-foot restriction on off-ramp to Seventh Avenue to replace existing sidewalk and railing marks start of $5.2 million rehabilitation of the Crosstown Boulevard below Mellon Arena.
Route 28, Allegheny Valley -- Northbound single-lane closures south of Harmar Interchange to Creighton Interchange for $35 million improvement that began last year. Southbound closures 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily through April from Pittsburgh Mills to Route 910/Harmar. Hillside stabilization under way in rockfall area in Harmar.
Route 130, Turtle Creek -- Southbound traffic reduced to a single lane on Triboro Expressway because of safety concerns over a railroad retaining wall near Keystone Commons.
Route 910, Gibsonia -- Route 910 overpass of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, three miles west of Butler Valley interchange, closed until fall for construction of a $7.5 million bridge, requiring a 7.3-mile detour.
Stanwix Street, Downtown -- Closed between Fort Duquesne Boulevard and Penn Avenue for excavation associated with extending the light-rail system 1.2 miles to the North Shore.
Baptist Road, Bethel Park -- Closed from Millenium Park Drive and Lowes entrance for $2 million replacement of the bridge over railroad tracks between Horning and Hamilton roads. Work to last through August.
Boulevard of the Allies, Oakland -- Closed outbound east of the Parkway East entrance. Forbes Avenue down to two lanes, both for construction of new bridges and a "gateway interchange." Short stretch of Fifth Avenue to be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, beginning at Robinson Street, through April. Port Authority buses will use the center lane.
Brownsville Road, South Park -- Bridge over Piney Fork closed for $1.3 million replacement. Detour via Route 88.
Birmingham Bridge -- One lane being maintained in both directions, on the southbound side. Northbound side remains closed while rocker bearings are replaced.
Fort Duquesne Bridge -- Ramps to and from Route 65 at the north end of the bridge closed 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday for pier work related to the Port Authority's light-rail extension. Mainline remains open between West End Bridge and points east, as well as I-279 ramps. Detour for Route 65 via the West End Bridge. PennDOT imposing short-term closures 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays under the ramps through April 4 for nonrelated bridge inspections.
McKees Rocks Bridge -- Single-lane closures 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays through early May for maintenance activities.
Downtown -- Road closings on Easter Sunday on North Shore, Lower North Side, Sixth and Seventh Street bridges for a cycling event means detours till 5:30 p.m. on the following bus routes: 11D, 11E, 12A, 16A, 16B, 16D, 16F, 1A, 1D, 500 and 6A.
