TechMan has confessed his lust for the iPod Touch.

Since it is to be released Friday (09/28) TechMan has been doing some research. First he found that there are only 5 Apple stores in the state and two of those are in Pittsburgh -- South Hills Village and Shadyside.

Since Shadyside was one of only two Apple stores in the country not to sell out of the iPhones in the first 5 days, that might be a good bet (except that now I have spilled the beans.)

I checked out the nearest BestBuy and I got the answer that there is no way they could know when the shipment was coming in.

This seems to be a stock answer because it was what I was told when I asked about the Wii.

When I informed the salesperson that the iPhone Touch was supposed to be released on Friday (which he didn't seem to know) he said they would have them Friday. I'm not holding my breath.
