On Friday, Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving and after a stressful work day, I stopped to get gas at the Amoco station on Washington Road in McMurray. As I was getting out of my car to operate the pump, a man was there, putting in his credit card.
He told me he was going to buy my gas because he had not shown enough gratitude to anyone. He was a nice man and introduced himself as “Tim” or “Tom.”
I was so taken aback by this I was in shock. He refused my offer to pay him back. I told him my tank was almost empty. He did not mind.
I have never had anyone do such a kind act for me. I wanted to share this and thank him again if he reads this.
