Conklin back in the NHL, Brind'Amour relieved

Nov. 7, 2007

The Penguins recalled goaltender Ty Conklin from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

He will be taking Marc-Andre Fleury's place in the lineup. Fleury hurt his ankle in the first period of Thursday's 3-2 shootout win in Calgary.

Thankfully for Conklin and the Penguins, they won't be playing Rod Brind'amour and the Hurricanes anytime soon.
