RDX, a cloud and database services provider based in Warrendale, has acquired Navisite LLC from Charter Communications.
Terms were not disclosed.
Navisite also provides cloud services.
“We are building RDX into a next-generation cloud provider, with a unique portfolio of business-centric strategy and services,” said Mark Clayman, chief executive. Prior to the acquisition, the company had about 250 employees, including more than 100 in Warrendale, he said.
Stamford, Conn.-based Charter is a telecommunications business that owns the Spectrum brand of cable networks.
Earlier this year, RDX acquired database provider ClearDB and database manager clckwrk. RDX is backed by Chicago private investment firm Madison Dearborn Partners.
