Clearfield fireman responding to arson has fatal attack

WESTOVER, Pa. -- A firefighter has died of a heart attack responding to a blaze at an abandoned building in Clearfield County, and a fire marshal has ruled it an arson.

Nobody has been charged with setting the fire about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in Westover, about 75 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski says 41-year-old Roy Westover Jr. suffered a heart attack and died at Miners Medical Hospital in Hastings less than two hours after responding to the fire.
