Man falls from cliff into Lake Erie

A man is hospitalized after falling about 30 feet from a cliff into Lake Erie, apparently while trying to find a spot to watch fireworks that capped the city's CelebrateErie festival.

Erie authorities have yet to release the name of the man who was seen falling off the cliff about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses saw the man approach the edge of the cliff followed by a woman with a flashlight when the man fell into the lake.
