State police are searching for the man who robbed a Uniontown bank yesterday evening.

The suspect entered the First National Bank inside the Giant Eagle at Fayette Plaza around 5:40 p.m., placed a small bag on the bank's counter, showed a handgun and demanded money. He fled with an undetermined amount of money.

He is described as a white male in his mid 30's with a possibly dark complexion, between 5 feet 4 and 5 feet 6, with a medium build and facial hair. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, light colored blue jeans and tan boots.
