Cold front could bring light snow by this afternoon

Falling temperatures will cause rain to change to snow by this afternoon across most of Western Pennsylvania. But commuters who must head to work this Presidents' Day can expect wet roads -- with no ice likely until the temperatures dip below freezing tonight.

The suburban area can expect less flurries to about a half inch of snow today, but there is a chance of 1 and 2 inches tonight through tomorrow.

A cold front that moved through overnight brought winds that gusted as high as 50 mph and caused scattered power outages in Westmoreland County. Motorists should watch for debris that may have blown onto roadways. Winds have abated, but will remain from about 16 to 20 mph.
