Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute and School of Computer Science displayed their four-wheeled rover yesterday inside Newell Simons Hall on campus. Eventually a more sophisticated version will roam lunar landscapes, then drill into the ground, with only enough electrical power to illuminate a 100-watt light bulb.
