Woman arrested twice for DUI

Woman arrested twice for DUI

A woman in Clarion County managed to get herself charged with drunk driving twice in the same morning.

State police said Cynthia L. Weber, 35, of Rimersburg, was arrested for DUI early yesterday morning and released to a third party. In most jurisdictions in Pennsylvania, drunk drivers are released to someone else and only taken to jail if they are a danger to someone or no one can come get them.

Later that morning, however, police stopped Ms. Weber for traffic violations at about 2:40 a.m. and charged her again with DUI.

It wasn't immediately clear if she went to jail this time.
