Bryan Ferry to play Heinz Hall in April

Bryan Ferry will make a rare Pittsburgh appearance on April 1 at Heinz Hall.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Livenation.com.

The elegant 71-year-old singer-songwriter began his career with in the early ‘70s with British glam band Roxy Music, and soon after that launched a parallel and successful solo career. His most recent album was “Avonmore” in 2014.

According to the VivaRoxyMusic.com archive, his only prior Pittsburgh appearances were with Roxy Music at Carnegie Mellon University in 1976 and at the Stanley Theater in 1979.
