Seger set to play Consol

Seger set to play Consol

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will bring their 2011 North American Tour to the Consol Energy Center on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The tour arrives in advance of a new studio album and also coincides with Tuesday's reissue of Mr. Seger's multi-platinum "Live Bullet" and "Nine Tonight" live albums, which have been digitally remastered with exclusive bonus tracks.

Tickets will go on sale Sept. 24. More details coming soon.

The last Seger show in Pittsburgh was Dec. 14, 2006, at Mellon Arena.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra returns

Also just announced for Consol is the return of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, performing "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" at 3:30 and 8:15 p.m. Dec. 23. Tickets are $30.45 to $59.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at www.livenation.com, Consol Energy Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
