Rock for Darfur

Tickets are $12 at the door. There will also be a special gift auction, 50/50 raffle, benefit T-shirts, posters.

Slim sales

• Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Slim's Nov. 30 concert at Diesel appeared to be canceled because of slow ticket sales. Now, it seems to be back on, with Joker Productions dropping the show and club management picking it up. Slim, aka Sied Chahrour, is about to drop his Def Jam debut on Dec. 4. ... John Eddie, a veteran Jersey rocker who has a song ("Low Life") on the new Kid Rock record, will play Moondog's Friday night at 7.
