Yesterday, pianist and Pittsburgh favorite Yefim Bronfman dressed in an orange three-piece suit and played a recital for commuters at 8 a.m. in New York City's Grand Central Terminal. He is trying to raise awareness for a Food Bank for the city's new food drive called "NYC Goes Orange."
Apparently orange is the color of hunger awareness. Maybe it's not the best month to do this drive, then, since orange is also the color of just about everything else fall, including pumpkins ... maybe a few onlookers even thought Bronfman was celebrating the fall harvest.
