Road closures for First Night

These road closures will be in effect 10 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday (unless otherwise noted) to accommodate First Night events:

• Penn Avenue from Stanwix Street until, but not including, 10th Street.

• Stanwix from Liberty Avenue to entrance of the Stanwix and Fort Duquesne parking garage (near Fort Duquesne Boulevard).

• Fifth Avenue (and Cecil Place and CLO Academy Way) from Fifth Avenue Place garage to Fort Duquesne Boulevard.

• Sixth Street from Liberty to the entrance of the Sixth Street and Fort Duquesne garage.

• Sixth Street will remain open for parking garage traffic only at Sixth and Penn until 3 p.m.

• Seventh Street from Liberty Avenue to the entrance of Theater Square garage.

• Seventh Street Bridge.

• Eighth Street from Liberty Avenue (Tito Way) to entrance to the Eighth Street and Penn Avenue parking lots.

• Ninth Street from Liberty Avenue to the entrance to Ninth Street garage.

• All alleys within the perimeter of Liberty Avenue, 10th Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard, Sixth Street and Penn Avenue.

Also, access to parking garages will not be impeded by road closures, with the exception of the Sixth and Penn garage, which will be closed after 3 p.m. to ensure the safety of First Night participants.
