Hempfield -- The University of Pittsburgh will hold a Transfer Decision Day from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 3 at its Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive, off Mount Pleasant Road. Students should bring official transcripts, including high school and college(s) attended, and documentation of SAT/ACT scores. Admissions counselors will be available to review applications and admitted students will then have the opportunity to schedule courses for the upcoming semester. A $100 tuition deposit is required before meeting with Academic Advising to schedule courses. Registration is required. The $45 application fee will be waived for students who attend. Greensburg -- The Greensburg Garden Center will sponsor a bus trip to Stan Hywet Mansion & Gardens, former estate of R.A. Seiberling, co-founder of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio, on Sept. 18.
