Hempfield -- Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will present the Academy Chamber Ensemble featuring musicians from the orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel & Lecture Center on the University of Pittsburgh's Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive. • Lord Nelson Mass by Joseph Haydn, 8 p.m. Saturday, joint performance with the Academy Chamber Orchestra.

• Light from Light Begotten, a mid-winter a cappella choral program at 7 p.m. Sunday, presented by the Saint Vincent Camarata Scholars.


Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust will sponsor "Hollywood Party: Salute to the Palace" at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Cost: $75, $125 for the 6 p.m. VIP party. Information: 724-836-1123.


Greensburg -- Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., will hold "Meet the Muse" at 6 p.m. Friday. The presenter will be plein air artist Barry Shields. Information: 724-837-1500, ext. 10.

Hempfield -- The University of Pittsburgh will sponsor a reading by Stephen Ramey, author of the just-released short story collection "Glass Animals," at 7 p.m. Wednesday in room 118 in Village Hall on its Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive. Greensburg -- The Seton Hill University Theatre and Dance Program will present "Little Women" at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, next Thursday and March 1 and 2; at 2 p.m. Sunday; and at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the William Granger Ryan Theatre in the university's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. Information: 724-552-2929.
