A Delmont man was arrested today on charges that he threatened a Pennsylvania state trooper on Facebook.
Andrew Fulton, 29, was arraigned this morning on charges of harassment and terroristic threats and is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 bail, according to online court records.
State police from the Kiski Valley barracks wrote in a criminal complaint that Mr. Fulton posted messages earlier this month on Facebook saying "I want to hurt Williams with a gun" and "I will kill him."
A Facebook friend posted "Who's Williams?"
Mr. Fulton responded with "State Cop that gave me felony charges," according to the complaint.
Court records show that Trooper David Williams arrested Mr. Fulton on misdemeanor drug charges for an incident that happened in July.
