In 1986 Westinghouse created a poster celebrating many of the inventions and innovations the corporation had made during its first 100 years. The proud technological tradition of George Westinghouse's company lasted only 11 more years, as the financial services fiasco finished off what the shareholder value movement had started in the '80s and Michael Jordan essentially created a whole new company focused on media properties.
