CBS Radio's 100.7 (WBZZ-FM) this week welcomed back former personality Michael Flick, whose handle is merely Flick.
He previously worked in Pittsburgh on air at the former B94 and also was an afternoon host on WKST, where he also served as assistant program director and music director.
"Flick is a well-known personality in Pittsburgh and was a formidable competitor," said Mark Anderson, CBS Radio Pittsburgh operations manager and 100.7 Star program director.
• Zak Szabo has been named program director of Hot AC station Q92.9 WLTJ. The afternoon drive talent there, he will continue to be on air in addition to his new duties. Previous positions include assistant program director at WGHT in Baltimore, WXLK in Roanoke and WNVZ in Virginia Beach.
Q92.9 WLTJ is owned and operated by Steel City Media.
• He was "Jeff Christie" when he worked at KQV in the early 1970s, but the world knows him by his given name, Rush Limbaugh. The outspoken talk show host will celebrate 25 years in syndication this summer and is the cover story in trade publication Radio Ink, out April 22.
• CBS Radio's series "Legends for the Fan" features a March 25 lunch at the Capital Grille, Downtown. Host Bob Pompeani interviews former University of Pittsburgh and NBA player Charles Smith, which will be broadcast live on SportsRadio 93.7 The Fan.
