Broadway shows coming to Heinz Hall

"Catch Me If You Can," the musical based on the Tom Hanks-Leonardo DiCaprio film and true-life story, makes its Pittsburgh debut as part of the "Broadway at Heinz Hall" series.

The Broadway musical earned Norbert Leo Butz a Tony as Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent in relentless pursuit of con-man Frank Abignale. The show, with a book by Terrence McNally and score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, is sandwiched between presentations of "Chicago" and "Elvis Lives."

The schedule:

• "Chicago," Nov. 8-11: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

• "Catch Me If You Can," Dec. 26-30: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 2 and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

• "Elvis Lives," March 29-30: 8 p.m. Friday and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will not be performing at these shows, and "Broadway at Heinz Hall" is not part of the PNC Broadway Across America series. Tickets are $25-$85 and go on sale Aug. 20; 412-392-4900 or www.pittsburghsymphony.org/broadway.
