Foursquare, the popular social media site that tracks people's tracks, has mined its data to identify the nation's red and blue states with the most check-ins related to this year's elections issues.
In the Obesity in America category, Pennsylvania ranks the highest among blue states for Foursquare check-ins at health clubs and gyms. Although 28.56 percent of the population is considered obese, state residents seem to be working hard to get in shape.

Among other interesting tidbits regarding blue states (that don't have anything to do with the election): Chipotle is the top Mexican restaurant, bagels the top breakfast choice but Starbucks is the most popular coffee shop in both blue and red states. Not measured: The number of check-ins in front of the TV set watching "Sesame Street."
