The Steelers' first round draft pick tried on a black and gold jersey for size this afternoon and got his first chance to meet Pittsburgh's press.

Lawrence Timmons, the 15th overall pick in the NFL draft, was introduced to reporters by Steelers President Art Rooney II. The soft-spoken linebacker described his reaction to being picked by the Steelers, his first impressions of Pittsburgh and his delight at being reunited from some of his former teammates from Florida State.
On Saturday the Steelers made Timmons, 20, only the third linebacker drafted in the first round since 1977 and the first since 1991.
