The Steelers today came to terms with first-round draft choice David DeCastro on a four-year contract and an option year, the last rookie to sign before they open training camp in Latrobe Wednesday.
The only player still unsigned on the eve of the team reporting to Saint Vincent College is veteran Mike Wallace. He has a one-year contract offer as a restricted free agent he has not yet signed as the sides also try to negotiate a mutliple-year deal.
DeCastro was the 24th player drafted in the first round, a guard who played at Stanford. The Steelers hope he can open the season as their starting right guard.
The Steelers also signed undrafted rookie offensive tackle Bridger Buche of Eastern Michigan, where he started the past two seasons.
