The Steelers placed three players already declared out for Sunday's game on injured reserve and signed three others to take their places.

Mike Wallace, Mike Adams and Curtis Brown were placed on injured reserve and wide receiver David Gilreath and nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu were signed from the practice squad. Gilreath will wear No. 18 and Ta'amu No. 95.

Also, the Steelers claimed defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo off waivers from Seattle. Fangupo spent 15 weeks on the Seahawks' practice squad. They signed him to their 53-man roster last week and then waived him. He signed with Houston as an undrafted rookie in May.
