The Steelers have hired Aliquippa native Richard Mann for the opening at wide receivers coach.

Mann, 65, coached with Mike Tomlin in Tampa Bay, and also has coached for the Colts, Chiefs, Redskins and Ravens.

Mann replaces Scottie Montgomery, who resigned last week to join the coaching staff at Duke University. Another position that was previously a second special teams coach might be used elsewhere.
