Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor, who had an interception and five tackles against the New York Giants, was named AFC defensive player of the week.

Taylor's interception, his first of the season, led to a Steelers touchdown in a 24-20 victory.

The Steelers, who have the NFL's No. 1-ranked pass defense, held Giants quarterback Eli Manning to 125 passing yards, his lowest total in 57 games.
