Steelers President Art Rooney II will join three other team owners when the NFL labor talks resume before a mediator Monday in Minneapolis.

Other owners joining Rooney will be Carolina's Jerry Richardson, Cincinnati's Mike Brown and the New York Giants' John Mara.

Rooney also participated at times in two previous stretches of negotiations with the players, one before a federal mediator in Washington, that lasted two weeks but ended March 11, and another last month in Minneapolis that was ordered by a federal judge.

The NFL Players Association decertified March 12 and filed an antirust lawsuit against the owners for locking out the players. The owners began the lockout when the collective bargaining agreement's temporary extension expired March 12.

A federal judge lifted the lockout April 25, but a federal appeals court re-installed it four days later and has yet to rule whether to make its ruling permanent before the two sides argue in that court starting June 3.
