Nine join practice squad

The Steelers signed eight players to their practice squad yesterday, all of them from their training camp roster.
They are linebacker Patrick Bailey, cornerback/safety Roy Lewis, safety Grant Mason, offensive tackle Jeremy Parquet, nose tackle Scott Paxson, wide receiver Micah Rucker, tight end Dezmond Sherrod and running back Justin Vincent.
Wide receiver Marvin Allen also will join the practice squad for a second season as a ninth player as part of the NFL's international player development program.
