Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not play against the Ravens Sunday afternoon. Roethlisberger will miss a third consecutive game with shoulder and rib injuries. He did not practice Friday.

Third-stringer Charlie Batch will make a second consecutive start at quarterback. He was intercepted three times in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the Browns.

Offensive tackle Mike Adams (ankle), backup quarterback Byron Leftwich (ribs) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (ankle) also will not play.

Left guard Willie Colon, who practiced for the first time this week Friday, is listed as questionable with a knee injury. Receiver Jerricho Cotchery (ribs) also is listed as questionable.

Rookie Kelvin Beachum will make his first career start at right tackle in place of Adams. If Colon cannot play, starting center Maurkice Pouncey will move to left guard and Doug Legursky will play center.

Receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), NG Casey Hampton (illness), safety Troy Polamaul (calf) and tackle Max Starks (back) are probable.

Polamalu is expected to play for the first time since the Oct. 7 home game against the Eagles. He has missed the past seven games.
