Q. Should we worry about Polamalu having issues already?

Question: Casey Hampton reporting overweight worries me a lot less than Troy Polamalu having issues already. Should the Steelers Nation be concerned? Troy seems awfully fragile lately.

BOUCHETTE: Polamalu had one season in which he played through knee and rib injuries and still made the Pro Bowl. Now he has a slight hamstring injury that has prompted coach Mike Tomlin to hold him out of practice for a few days to start camp. I would not equate that to being fragile. It's a tough game and players get hurt. This latest "injury" is a blip for Polamalu. Hampton really is the one you should worry about. Maybe he can be another Ted Washington or Sam Adams and play for a number of years as an overweight nose tackle. But those two would have been much more effective had they not ballooned.
