Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger married last July New Castle native Ashley Harlan. The couple announced today they are expecting their first child.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his wife, Ashley, announced today that they are expecting the birth of their first child, a baby boy.
"Ashley and I are proud to let you all know that we are expecting a baby boy later this year!" Mr. Roethlisberger posted on his official website, bigben7.com. "It is truly a blessing and we are so excited!"
Thousands of fans have sent the couple notes of congratulation since they posted the announcement. Mr. Roethlisberger's agent could not be reached for comment.
