Robert Morris started off hot and cruised to a 75-57 win against St. Francis in the Northeast Conference quarterfinals at the Charles Sewall Center Wednesday night.

The Colonials made 3-pointers on their first possessions in both halves, setting the tone for a hot shooting night and an easy victory.

Karvel Anderson led all scorers with 20 points, and finished 4-of-8 from 3-point range. Robert Morris shot 11-for-31 as a team from beyond the arc.

On the other end, the Colonials prevented St. Francis from establishing any rhythm offensively.

The Colonials forced 17 turnovers, and outscored the St. Francis 20-3 in points off turnovers.

Robert Morris will play in the NEC semifinals Saturday, when they will face the lowest remaining seed from the other quarterfinals matchups.
