Robert Morris held off a late Sacred Heart rally to win its third consecutive Northeast Conference game, beating the Pioneers 66-62.

The Colonials (11-7, 3-2 NEC) were playing without their two leading scorers -- Velton Jones and Karvel Anderson -- but got a balanced scoring effort from the seven players who did suit up Thursday night. Four players scored in double-digits for the Colonials, with Mike McFadden and Lucky Jones leading the way with 15 points apiece.

Robert Morris went into halftime with a 29-26 lead, and built up a 12-point lead midway through the second half. The Pioneers whittled away, though, and cut it to within three in the final minute.

The Colonials got some key stops and made their free throws down the stretch, though, to hold on for the win. They return to action Saturday night at home against Quinnipiac.
