A.J. Jackson had 22 points and 10 rebounds and became the 10th player in school history to go over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career as Robert Morris downed Navy, 93-77, last night in Annapolis, Md.

It also was the 22nd double-double of Jackson's career.

Jeremy Chappell added 20 points and nine rebounds for Robert Morris (2-0), which used a 12-0 run early in the second half to pull away from Navy (1-2).

Jimmy Langhurst and Tony Lee added 12 points each for Robert Morris.

The Colonials outrebounded Navy, 50-28, and outscored the Midshipmen, 27-5, in second-chance points.

Greg Sprink led Navy, which shot just 40 percent from the floor, with 19 points.

After making three 3-pointers in the first seven minutes, Navy didn't make another until eight minutes remained and finished 7 for 27 from behind the arc.

The game was a preliminary game to the Philly Hoop Group Classic, which continues through the Thanksgiving weekend, when the tournament moves to the Palestra in Philadelphia.
